Rabbi Segelman is the rabbinic director for PUAH in America.

After studying in Israel for two years at Yeshivat Kerem B'Yavneh, Rabbi Segelman attained a B.A. in Psychology from Touro College's Lander College for Men, as well as an M.A. from Touro College's Graduate School of Jewish Studies. Shortly after completing his Semicha, he was appointed as a Shoel U'Maishiv and Rebbe in the Lander College Judaic Studies Program. In 2016, Rabbi Segelman became the Rabbinic Educator at New York Medical College & Touro College of Dental Medicine in Valhalla, NY. Rabbi Segelman currently resides in Los Angeles, California, where he serves as the Rabbi of the Young Israel of Hancock Park.

Originally from Kew Gardens, Queens, Rabbi Krohn learned under the tutelage of the illustrious Rav Zelig Epstein. He then studied in Yeshivas Mir in Jerusalem for 8 years where he developed a close relationship with the Rosh Yeshiva, Rav Nosson Tzvi Finkel, and his rebbe, Rav Asher Arieli. Upon returning to America, he received Semicha from Beis Medrash Gavoha of Lakewood, NJ.

Rabbi Krohn is a sought after posek and lecturer and delivers regular classes in Jewish law and Jewish thought to a variety of audiences. Rabbi Krohn is also a renowned Mohel, expertise he learned from his mentor and father, Rabbi Paysach Krohn. Rabbi Eliezer Krohn and his family live in Clifton, NJ.

Rabbi Gideon Weitzman heads PUAH's English speaking section in Israel. Born in Britain, Rabbi Weitzman earned his rabbinic ordination from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. Rabbi Weitzman was a visiting associate principal in the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and is a regular contributor to the annual halachic compendium Techumin. His scholarly articles on IVF, sperm extraction, and genetic counseling have been published in The Journal of Genetic Counseling and The Journal of Early Human Development.

Rabbi Weitzman is well known for his brilliant and thought provoking presentations. He has lectured at major organizations such as National Council of Young Israel, the Rabbinical Council of California, Agudas Yisroel of America, American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Columbia Medical Center, and Cornell Medical Center and more! Rabbi Weitzman teaches at Midrasha College for Women, as well as other educational institutions in Jerusalem. He currently resides in Modiin where he serves as the rabbi of the Merkaz Modiin Synagogue.

Dr. Bardos is a founding physician and medical director of CCRM Fertility of Miami, board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

He received his undergraduate degree with honors from Yeshiva University and his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine with special distinction in clinical research, alongside a Master of Bioethics from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He trained in obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, and completed his fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the National Institutes of Health and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. His bioethics training informs his work with patients weighing the ethical and religious questions raised by IVF and genetic testing.

Dr. Goldstein is a double board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and reproductive endocrinologist practising in the Los Angeles area, where she also serves as clinical faculty at the UCLA School of Medicine. She has guided patients through more than two thousand IVF cycles.

She earned her undergraduate degree with honors in biology from Brown University and her medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, trained in obstetrics and gynecology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, and completed her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at UCLA and Cedars-Sinai Medical Centers. While at UCLA she identified and published a genetic mutation behind a form of familial infertility previously considered unexplained. A frequent speaker to Jewish audiences, she has presented for PUAH on what patients most need to understand before beginning treatment.

Dr. Grazi founded Genesis Fertility & Reproductive Medicine and directs the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at SUNY Downstate.

He received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his medical degree from the SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine, trained in obstetrics and gynecology at NYU–Bellevue Hospital Medical Center, and completed his fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at UMDNJ–New Jersey Medical School. Over nearly four decades of practice he has worked closely with leading poskim on the halachic questions raised by fertility treatment, and he is the author of Overcoming Infertility: A Guide for Jewish Couples. He has been named repeatedly to Castle Connolly’s America’s Top Doctors and to New York Magazine’s Best Doctors list.

Dr. Klein is co-founder and chief clinical officer of Extend Fertility in New York and an assistant professor of obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He previously served as medical director for Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York in Brooklyn.

He earned his medical degree at Harvard, trained in obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive biology at Massachusetts General and Brigham & Women’s Hospitals, and completed his fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Columbia University. Much of his work centres on egg freezing and fertility preservation, and on making that care more accessible and better understood. He is a Castle Connolly Top Doctor and has been named a Super Doctor every year since 2017.

Dr. Levine is the founding partner and practice director of CCRM Fertility New York, and is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

He attended the NYU School of Medicine, trained in obstetrics and gynecology at NewYork-Presbyterian–Columbia University Medical Center, and completed his fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at NewYork-Presbyterian–Weill Cornell Medical College. His practice spans IVF, IUI, PCOS and gestational surrogacy, and he co-founded Nodal, a service that matches vetted gestational carriers with intended parents. He is a Castle Connolly Top Doctor and a New York Super Doctor, and has been cited as a leading fertility expert by The New Yorker, CNN and NBC.

Dr. Lieman directs the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Montefiore Einstein, serves as medical director of Montefiore’s Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Health and of its reproductive tissue bank for oocyte and sperm donation, and is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Women’s Health at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Yeshiva University and his medical degree from SUNY Downstate, trained in obstetrics and gynecology at Montefiore-Einstein as administrative chief resident, and completed his fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at UMDNJ. His clinical focus is polycystic ovary syndrome, IVF and preimplantation genetic testing, alongside third-party reproduction, fertility preservation and minimally invasive surgery of the uterus and fallopian tubes. His research uses national SART registry data to assess IVF treatments and outcomes.

Dr. Schlegel is the James J. Colt Professor of Urology and Professor of Reproductive Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine, and served for many years as Urologist-in-Chief at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell. He is internationally recognised for his work on male factor infertility.

He developed microTESE, the microsurgical sperm-extraction technique now considered the safest and most effective option for men with non-obstructive azoospermia, and pioneered the genetic analyses used to understand that condition. He graduated from the UMass Chan Medical School, trained in general surgery and urology at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and completed fellowships in medical oncology at Johns Hopkins and in male reproduction at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell. His honours include the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology’s Established Clinician Award and the Barringer Medal of the American Association of Genitourinary Surgeons.

Dr. Weinerman is an Associate Professor at Case Western Reserve University and directs third-party reproduction at University Hospitals in Cleveland, where she also serves as program director of the reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship.

She attended Harvard Medical School, trained in obstetrics and gynecology at NYU, and completed her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Pennsylvania. Her clinical work covers assisted reproductive technology, third-party reproduction and recurrent pregnancy loss, and she leads a translational research programme examining how superovulation, embryo handling and vitrification affect implantation, placentation and early development. She has helped build a programme that tailors infertility treatment to patients’ religious needs.

Dr. Wertheimer is double board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, and practises at HRC Fertility in Beverly Hills.

She earned her medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, trained in obstetrics and gynecology at Montefiore Einstein, and completed her fellowship at Cedars-Sinai. Her research addresses the genomics and epigenetics of the placenta and markers of androgen excess in conditions such as PCOS. She chairs the Women’s Health Committee of the Jewish Orthodox Women’s Medical Association, where she runs a monthly webinar on women’s health that regularly draws thousands of live viewers, and she sees patients in English, Hebrew and conversational Farsi.
